GARWOODS MODELED RENOVATION

This was a complete renovation of a 2+ bedroom, 2 ½ bath condo. The client had just purchased the home and wanted to make it their own.

The Success Story

We completely gutted this condo, including removing the fireplace in the middle of the living room to open up the space, which it did tremendously. The design was modeled after Garwoods Restaurant in Wolfeboro, NH, the paint colors were matched to the restaurant as well. All of the interior doors and trim were replaced along with most of the windows. We came up with a simple design for the window & door toppers, which added a lot of class.

The lower level was a slab on grade which limited our flooring options but we wanted the same flooring on all floors so we used an engineered hardwood that allowed us a glue down installation on the main and second floor, with a floating installation over a premium moisture mitigating underlayment on the lower level. The kitchen featured inset cabinet doors with honed finish granite tops and a glass tile backsplash.
