HOW DOES THE DESIGN BUILD PROCESS WORK?
Our design build process is a consultative approach aimed at guiding you through every stage of design and planning. 1. Phone Consultation
We begin with a phone consultation to understand your goals, priorities, and vision for your home. This conversation allows us to learn what’s important to you, answer initial questions, and determine if our process is the right fit. If it aligns, we’ll guide you into the next step.
2. On-Site Consultation
We meet with you in your home to walk the space together and explore possibilities. During this meeting, we provide early guidance on layout, investment range, and overall approach—helping you make informed decisions before moving forward. Our goal is to create clarity and confidence around your project.
3. Project Development Process
During Project Development, you’ll meet with our designer, and an architect if needed, to explore your ideas, priorities, and how you want your space to function. From there, we develop initial layout concepts, including draft plans and elevation views, with one to two options designed to balance aesthetics, functionality, and investment.
Together, we review and refine the design, evaluate options, and make decisions so the plan aligns with your vision and lifestyle. We then guide you through material and finish selections in a structured, organized process to help keep the project aligned with your goals, budget, and overall design intent.
As selections and design details are finalized, we develop a comprehensive scope of work and coordinate a walkthrough with trusted trade partners to review the project in detail. This allows us to confirm the full scope, improve pricing accuracy, and prepare final plans, selections, scope, and pricing for your review before construction begins.

4. Construction Agreement
We present a detailed construction agreement outlining the full scope, investment, schedule, and specifications. Because of the work completed during Project Development, this phase is clear, organized, and straightforward.
5. Production
Your project moves into construction with a dedicated team managing every detail. We provide daily updates through BuilderTrend and maintain regular communication, so you always know what’s happening and what’s coming next.
6. Completion
We complete your project with a final walkthrough to ensure every detail meets our standards—and yours. We’ll guide you through care, maintenance, and any final questions so you feel confident enjoying your newly transformed space.
