We are very happy with Lighthouse Contracting Group. They are professional and knowledgeable. We are very impressed with their scheduling. Everything was on schedule from start to finish! No surprises at all.
From the very beginning, we visited their office and talked with the interior designer. They are very thorough and helpful. Once the project began, they cleaned up and organized the work space everyday. We were able to communicate with all of them through an App in case of any urgent questions. We were able to get our questions answered within 12 hours, if not a couple of hours, even during the weekend. Besides the App, text messaging is another way to keep in touch with the project leader with anything.
Jason, our project leader, is very knowledgeable. He caught some serious issues on the house and took time to work with the original builder to fix the issues. When we had questions not related to the current project, Jason was always willing to provide advices or even helped to fix those issues. We were away for an extended period of time in the middle of winter but we were very comfortable leaving our house to Jason and his crew.
Now, the basement has turned into a nice place and an extra space where my family can hang out and enjoy. We are grateful to have Lighthouse finish our basement, now “Lower Level”. We highly recommend Lighthouse and will definitely have them over again if we need any renovation on the house.
Lighthouse Contracting Group was amazing to work with from start to finish. When we first met with Jeremy, we were unsure of exactly what we wanted done to our house but explained what our hope was. We needed another bedroom but also wanted to gut and redo our kitchen and make the first floor flow. He listened to us and suggested a complete first floor remodel because it would meet all of our requests and goals. The design team he paired with helped bring our dream to life. Not only did we remodel our kitchen and make it open concept with our living room, but they redid our first floor bathroom and created a first floor master suite that is absolutely beautiful. The project was within our budget and all of the materials and finishes are exactly what we hoped for!
Cody, the lead carpenter, and the rest of the team, as well as the subcontractors, were nothing short of phenomenal. Whenever an issue arose, because let’s face it – they always do in construction, they handled it swiftly and with transparency. They accepted nothing short of the best and gave us the absolute best in return. They were timely, professional, and detailed in their work. The craftsmanship was top-notch.
While construction is normally stressful, the Lighthouse team made it stress-free. They communicated with us daily via their app and weekly at our meetings. We are in awe of the transformation of our home! We look forward to contracting with them again for our next home project!

Having built a house several years ago we had a lot of experience dealing with contractors, most of it negative. So it was with great trepidation that we decided to buy a summer condo in New Hampshire that required extensive renovations. But the experience we had with Jeremy Doucet of Lighthouse Contracting Group as our contractor was 100% positive.
Our condo renovation turned out better than we ever dreamed. Jeremy’s expertise in all areas of our renovation was invaluable. His cost estimates were accurate. His work, and that of his crew, was top notch. He is a perfectionist right down to the details. No corners were cut here.
Our condo was practically gutted and completely redone so it was a huge project. Yet when it was finished, Jeremy and his crew left it in turnkey condition. Not a speck of construction dust or debris anywhere. And what a showcase it was! Jeremy had great design ideas and suggestions that turned our condo into a stunning showcase. An honest, skilled contractor is a rare find. We only wish we could transplant Jeremy and his crew to Massachusetts to work on our home there.

From the get-go, Jeremy was an absolute pleasure to deal with in every regard. He has an amazing problem-solving approach which incorporates extensive building and architectural sensitivities. His pricing and cost-projections were consistently fair and reasonable. His workmanship is what sets him apart. He pays incredible attention to detail. For example, there was a switch plate over a switch box which didn’t quite fit. Jeremy spent hours filing down the electrical box and tweaking the plate until the fit was right. He is an honest reliable contractor who gets the work done on time and on budget.
All of our work and the subsequent 3 jobs has done at our home were completed to our satisfaction even while we were back home in the Boston area. Jeremy provides worry-free, complete satisfaction, quality work. I would recommend to everyone. He is a gem.
