FARMER’S PORCH ADDITION

This client had long desired to add a farmer’s porch on the front of their home but it was important to them that it was cohesive. Only the best materials were used for this project, durability and low maintenance were important factors. They intend to add granite steps in the future.

The Success Story

A clean look and added curb appeal were a couple of the main focuses of this project. It was also important that we chose the right materials for a cohesive look & durability. This porch is 8 feet wide and 44 feet long. The design achieved the desired look as if it were always there.

The porch features Azek decking with hidden fasteners, a tongue & groove beaded fir ceiling with dimmable recessed lighting and all the framing was wrapped with PVC. The railings were solid PVC railings for a more natural look & feel, unlike the typical hollow vinyl railing systems.

Client Feedback

“We love the new farmer’s porch that Lighthouse Contracting Group built for us this past September. Jeremy was very attentive to our desires and worked closely with us regarding the design, materials, and features to stay within our price range. As importantly, they carefully engineered and constructed an attractive, very well-built addition to our home that will be valued and used by us for a long time.” - Steve & Eileen Oliver
