The Success Story
For this project, the client came in with a clear vision, including key features such as a high end kitchen with a lot of space to entertain. The client had the opportunity to be present during the project and enjoyed being alongside the Lighthouse Crew and trade partners. Helping to solve any problems, working through obstacles, and participating in daily and weekly meetings. Felt like he was part of the project and team! With the help of Designer Lauren and the skilled tradesmen at Lighthouse, the client's dream began to come together.
Highlights
One large component of the project was the high-end kitchen, designed to provide ample space for cooking, family meals and entertaining. The Brazilian walnut, end-grain, custom fabricated island was a standout feature, adding warmth and character to the space. Blue Star appliances provided high-quality cooking capabilities, while the matte black fire clay sink added a stylish touch. The salvaged Chicago brick veneer and hickory flooring and handrail added to the overall aesthetic of the space, with metal distressed balusters providing a modern touch. The result was a bright and open space that fulfilled the client's vision and provided a beautiful and functional kitchen for cooking, sharing meals, and entertaining guests.
First Floor
To create a large inviting space for family and friends, we needed to make some massive structural changes. We opened up the first floor by knocking down load-bearing walls and hiding all the steel beams for a flush ceiling and finish. The Lighthouse team executed daily with attention to detail, ensuring that the finish work, trim, and wainscoting, were precisely executed according to the client's wishes.
