Deck Project Overview:
The entire home exterior project included an entry deck with landing and stairs, plus a dock deck and a secondary dock. This seasonal lake home has beautiful views and access to Lake Winnisquam. The homeowners own a boat and enjoy time on the water.
PVC Dock Deck Design
The main feature of this Sanbornton, NH, project is the dock deck. A 14’ by 11’ PVC deck built on top of an existing concrete dock.
We built custom, removable steps for the primary dock. When winter arrives, the homeowners can winch up the dock without the stairs in the way!
When you build outdoor spaces, you will encounter rocks. Especially, in New Hampshire. The Lighthouse Contracting Group team utilized a technique called scribing to build this deck around the rock retaining wall.
Electricity was brought down to the waterfront for low voltage lighting.
A smart WIFI switch was installed in the house. In addition, we installed lights in the railing posts and risers.
Lastly, it was necessary to hide the concrete dock underneath. To solve this, we installed vertical deck skirting.
