The homeowners envisioned a remodel that honored the setting while making the first floor brighter, more open, and ready for entertaining. Thoughtful Design Solutions

The biggest transformation came through reworking the layout. The original powder room was awkwardly placed across from the dining table, and the garage entry offered little function. By relocating walls and creating new spaces, the design introduced a proper mudroom, laundry, and powder room that suit the family’s lifestyle.

One of the most meaningful compliments came from the homeowner, who said entering through the garage now feels “like it was always supposed to be this way.” That sense of ease and belonging is what we strive for in every project.

An Elegant Ladies’ Lounge and Entertainer’s Wet Bar

The ladies’ lounge and wet bar bring a touch of glamour to the first floor. A mirrored backsplash paired with glass-front cabinetry adds elegance, while layered lighting creates warmth and ambiance. Refrigerator drawers provide easy access from the deck—perfect for grabbing drinks during summer gatherings without crossing through the kitchen. At the center of the bar, a brushed nickel plated copper sink paired with stainless fixtures adds sophistication.

The “ladies’ lounge” itself is a cozy retreat just off the main living areas, designed as an intimate space for relaxing with a glass of wine, catching up with friends, or enjoying a quiet moment away from the bustle of larger gatherings.
